DPF / EGR / AdBlue Solutions

Diagnostics-first. At owner's discretion.

Blocked DPF? Failed EGR cooler? AdBlue countdown warning? Diesel emissions faults are our most common enquiry, and our approach is unusual in the industry: diagnostics first, software last. We plug in, we read the live data, and we find the actual root cause. Only when the underlying part is verified do we consider any calibration work.

DPF, EGR and AdBlue removal — owner's responsibility

We provide DPF, EGR and AdBlue delete calibrations on the clear understanding that any resulting use of the vehicle is entirely at the owner's discretion and risk. It is the owner's responsibility to ensure the vehicle is used lawfully, insured correctly and complies with all applicable MOT, emissions and roadworthiness requirements in their jurisdiction. Mids Tuning accepts no responsibility or liability for how the vehicle is used, driven or presented for test after the work is carried out.

The road-legal alternative — recommended for daily-driven cars

For daily-driven diesels we still recommend a road-legal Stage 1 or Stage 2 remap that keeps every emissions component fully functional. You get a healthier mid-range, better MPG on cruise, and cleaner regens — with your hardware intact and your MOT/insurance position undisturbed. Ask us honestly what's right for your situation and we'll give you a straight answer before you book.

Common diesel jobs we see

1.6 & 2.0 TDI VAG (Golf, Passat, A3, A4, Q5), 1.5/1.6/2.0 dCi Renault/Nissan/Dacia, 1.5/2.0/2.2 TDCi Ford, 1.6 HDi PSA (Peugeot/Citroën/Ford), 3.0 BMW M57/N57, 2.0/2.2 Vauxhall CDTi. Each has known weak points and each responds beautifully to a properly-scoped calibration.

DPF / EGR / AdBlue Solutions · FAQ

My car is in limp mode — can you fix it?

Very likely, yes. Book a diagnostic session — we'll read live data, isolate the fault and quote for the fix in one visit.

Will an EGR delete affect my MOT or insurance?

Possibly — this is entirely the owner's responsibility to check and manage. We supply the calibration; how the vehicle is used or presented for test is not something we advise on or accept liability for.

How much is a forced DPF regen?

From £120 as a standalone job — often included when we're doing wider diesel diagnostics.
